Help Synthfont2 will no longer open

Hi,
I tried to post a screenshot but it will not let me, although I see moderators use screenshots.

I have a registered version and it used to work fine. Now when I open it just says loading...please wait forever.
I uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail.
All I did recently was download soundfont Timbres of Heaven but it's in my soundfonts folder.

Ok,Update I can access it but splashscreen won't go away and it will not play.

I'm using windows 10 and only a 2 year old Dell:

Yes, thats what is currently running. I can access it. change colors, read the (about) and even load songs but the splashscreen won't move and it wont play.

Where can I get it?
I read, I think this version said in the "what's new" that it fixed this specific problem.
I read about the splashscreen and not playing.
Did I mention I am a paid user of Synthfont2?

Generally speaking: If there is some kind of strange problem that seems related to booting up the program, this could help: keep the CTRL key down while program is booting up. This will rename the current configuration file to synthfont.ini.bak and start a fresh instance.

Well Hallelujahs! Holding the control key while loading worked! No splash screen and playing!
Simple but would have never known to try that!

Great! Now, it would be important for mew to find out WHAT particular setting in the config.ini file caused the problem. The file should still be found here: C:\Users\<YOU>\AppData\Roaming\SynthFont and the names should be SynthFont.ini.bak. If you find, please send it to me

Hi again, I'm sorry,
actually I'm not liking this new version at all. I got it to open the ctrl button but now windows wont close like the virtual keys window and others.
It also will play one or twice and then wont play anymore like it freezes. I have to close and reopen. I never had these problems with it before.
It also crashed while trying different color schemes. I loved this program and bought it but am not sure why its so wonky now.

Here is a list of all the ini files in that folder:
SyfonWA.ini
Synthfont.ini
SynthFont.ini.bak

SynthFont_ini.bak

VSTSynthFont.ini

I tried to copy and paste but they wouldn't.
I tried sending them as attachments but that didn't seem to work either.

Should the VST be in there? and there are 2 bak ones named a little differently.

The ones that belong to SynthFont2 are SynthFont.ini (current) and SynthFont.ini.bak (bad?). Send the second one to kenneth@synthfont.com
