I've been using Synthfont 2 with Plogue's VST Chipsynth SFC for a while now.
The VST wasn't working perfectly (some features crashed the app) but at least I could use it pretty well.
But maybe something related to the newer updates killed the VST for good.
I can still open it on Synthfont2 but no sound will come out of the VST program at all. It used to work fine by clicking on the 'Virtual Keyboard' button.

I don't have the older versions anymore so I can't test it.
I'll provide more specific details if requested.

I haven't knowingly changed anything in relation to the use of VST plugins for quite a long time. It would help if you could try to remember when you last was able to use the plugin. There are always these side effects... Also, the compiler was updated last year a few times, so one never knows. Is this always 64 bit host and 64 bit plugin or, 32+32, or when using bridging between these two architectures (64+32, 32+64)?

Everything is 64-bits, including the VST itself.

Both .exes are 32-bits so I Installed the 32-bits package and dropped 'em on the installation folder.
The VST is 64-bits and barely works on the 32-bits app but at least it works well enough to confirm :
YES, there's sound coming out of the VST on both of the older versions.

2.5.0.1 and 2.6.0.0 works like before : clicking on the 'Virtual Keyboard' button will activate the VST sound. Plays normal on playback/preview.
Sounds come out of the 2.7.0.1 except the Virtual Keyboard itself looks" blocked" (can't press any key) and the app crashes when you try to stop the playback/preview while using the VST.
