I have been using PG Musics " Power Tracks Pro Audio " (a sequencing and digital audio recording program) for years. I use midi files as the backing for vocals. Of course, the sound fonts enhance the overall song
tremendously. With newer OS (Vista on up) my Soundblaster Audigy 2 NX is no longer supported by Creative. I have researched the web and found Synthfont, which of course plays sound fonts quite well. With Power Tracks, I can mix the sound fonts and the vocals for a well balanced mix.
My question - is there a way to use Synthfont with Power Tracks?
Power Tracks with SynthFont
Re: Power Tracks with SynthFont
If Power Tracks supports VST instruments you may consider using VSTSynthFont.

Additionally, you may want to consider trying my SyFonOne tool. Using this and any virtual midi port available you can write midi to it like you did to your SoundBlaster card. Read more here: http://www.synthfont.com/About_SyFonOne.html
