Hi
I have a lot of drumkits soundfonts (which ive created with viena ), and they have that rootkey=-1 parameter (which means the sampler should just play the sample as it is, not transposing it).
I would need to actually alter those soundfonts and enter a rootkey for each sample (all are ONE KEY ONLY samples), so that the rootkey is the same as the key its mapped to.
Is there a way to do this automatically in viena ?
Thanks a million.
Auto assign rootkey
Re: Auto assign rootkey
That's a good idea. I'm currently working on a new version of Viena so I must include that feature into it.

Here is the first test version of Viena 0.974:

There are two new features in the Instrument editor: 1) you can easily change the order of the splits using two new buttons and 2) a new function to set the root key (in the split, not the audio sample) to the key range.

Kenneth,
I love being able to move the splits in this new version beta. However, the Reassign doesn't work for me.
