I started trying out some newer VSTs and I noticed they had a different filetype than what I was used to. Obviously they weren't compatible lol.

Any plans in implementing support?

VST3 plugins have the extension ".vst3". I'm studying the VST3 specifications right now, but as it is a rather complicated subject I cannot promise anything. Sorry.

Try load free Element VST2 then drag the vst3 into it

I will give it a try. I've done my homework now and realized that it is rather tricky for me to build native support for VST3 into SynthFont2. It can be done, but it might take just too long and it may not be worth it. If this works, then voila!
