i have had an error trying to 'append' - it should have sent an error report - i tried only sending what i wanted to add on, excluding the previous instruments and banks, and all the samples - because those had 'doubled' as well on the last operation, and i had to 'purge' them and deleting the 'doub...

:) heh just made instruments and presets in Notepad :D worked very nicely. however on import, it doubled up the existing instrument and samples. so it's 'Append' rather than 'Overwrite'. my bad. ok i've opened the csv file in OpenOffice Calc, and it has 2 columns, first one starts with 'Samples,Name,Loop' lists them, then Instruments, then Presets. other side is empty for the sample section, then with names, ranges. then opened it in Notepad. that actually looks easier and quicker to get ar...

hi, thanks for Viena. excellent as sf2 auditioner, and have noticed i can now auto-generate a soundfont from a folder of files! don't recall seeing that in earlier versions. this is an excellent time-saver for wrapping up a bunch of sounds into a 'sample program'. feel quite lazy about making soundf...
