It would be nice if the 'Karaoke Lyrics' text colors were persistent.
I can't really tell the difference between the Maroon (Foreground Text) and Black (Background Text) so every time I open the program I have to change the 'Foreground Text' color to Aqua

BUG - on Windows, if you choose 'create long file names' options, and one of the instruments has a '/' in (le.g. instrument 000:017 in compifont called 'B3 organ w/ Leslie') then you get an error 'Cannot Create File... <path to file> The system can not find the path specified'.

Note that in the filename in the error message, the '/' has become '\'.

Hi Kenneth ! Since I mostly use SF2 for batch conversion of midifles to wav or Mp3, mu wish and/or bug report will mostly be related to that...

1. Saving and loading of override.
Many time I have to start over again, due to freezing or crash, and then my override setting is gone... Also when I decide to load another SF as SET Default soundfont. What I miss here, is the ability to SAVE a override with a name related to what kind of music I working with.. I.e. Classical, Jazz, Rock, etc... Since there is a limitation on how many VSTi we can use as override, due to RAM limitation. In the override window, there is a "Read override from file" option, but that is only the .ini files that can be loaded. And so far, it does nothing for me... So, when starting a project, it would be nice just to load the wanted FULL override setting from a file, no matter what sound font we set as default SF...

2, I wish for those two File menu item; Set default SF file AND Define default SF override, to have their own icon on the top, since there is just enough space for it there...

3. When we go in the setup and option window, I wish we could fine ALSO set SF FOLDER there, like we find the set VST folder there... That would be natural, I think...

4. When I chose VST in the override window, the window that opens are very small, and Kontakt is not visible unless I drag this window bigger... Bug? From memory, I think it was bigger before...

5, I wish we could have the same option in the define override window, as we have in the SF set preset window; Show Melodic only, show percussion only, show both. This would make it more easy for us to change all instances/preset of drums in all the files, with different drums/preset we want to batch convert...

6. I wish that, after successfully batch converting 1.200 midi files to Wav/Mp3 or whatever, a sexy voice sounding; Good job Mister, here is a ice cold beer...

Haha, by the way; I have actually done something similar to many of my batch converted classical music. I have a hard time to remember the title and composer of the file I listen to, so I got this nice free program; Balabolka, that use windows text to speak engine. So I take the Wav file in Audacity, copying the filename, i.e. Beethoven - Sonata number 3 in b minor, or whatever, paste it, and let Balabolka say it, and have the record on in Audacity at the very start of the song... So now, when I listen to it, I same time hear and learn the name of the composer of that classical piece, AND the title of it... :D

Thanks! I'll keep these in mind.
1. Well, this should be relatively easy to implement. At first I need to add a button like "Save Overrides to file..." to let you choose a particular one, and make "Read Overrides from file" more versatile.
2. So, as I see it you would have one more menu item like the button "Read Overrides from file". Should be a piece of cake.
3. Well, this requires some thinking. Maybe something in line with what I have in VSTSynthFont?
4. Sounds like a bug. Have to look.
5. Requires some thinking... (Phew..)
6. Oh my, oh my...

BTW: That's inventive! Text to speech? Who would have thought of that.I came up with this method: use windows Narrator (made for blind users) to spell out the name of any file and record it into Audicity (or other similar). Here's an example of what I got: ... e.mp3?dl=0

Just for fun, and for those other forum user interested, but also because I can smell a future for the use of txt to speak application for inserting audio files with the name of the composer and the composition at the start of a music file, i continued to do a little research, if there already WAS an batch software for it. At least for the reading of all the file names in a folder, to ONE audio for each music file. And so far, I found this way to be the fastest;

1. Hold shift down and right click on the name of the folder. Select "Open Command window here"

2. Inn the command window type the following command; dir /b > filenames.txt... A text file will be written in that folder, with the name of ALL the files in that folder, separated by line shift.

3, Separate each lines with 2 empty lines, and clean up for unwanted underscore etc. Where a short pause is wanted between words, use comma or - . Like THIS F.I:

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Sonata in A - 3rd Movement - (Alla Turca)

Robert Schumann - Arabeske - Opus 18

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Piano Sonata 16 in C Major, 1-3

4. Now copy this text in to Balabolka, (FREE) and select from the File Menu "Split and convert to Audio files" or Ctrl+F8, select the output option, and u r ready to go. Separate audio files will now be rendered to the folder.. To mix/join the audio with the corresponding music file, there is many software that do it. I use, so far, Audacity, and the track mixer funksion there, since it can import several audio files at once, and export all as separate files in one go after mixing them,...

Maybe after looking more around I can find a more easy batch way to do it...;)

To really clean up, insert, replace, etc. text in filenames and foldernames, I use Flash Renamer 6.8 A really BIG timesaver. It also have a good Mp3 tag function...

1. Hold shift down and right click on the name of the folder. Select "Open Command window here"
This menu item is optional and may not be present on all devices. As an alternative, in Windows' Explorer go to the Path box at the top (where you see the Path of the current folder). Click on it to change from breadcrumb path to text path, erase the text and write "cmd", hit ENTER.

But you MAY actually see the command "Open Powershell window..." which probably does the trick. Powershell is an alternative to the good old command window.
