Re: Error Code=2

Ok, here we go. Download this file: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1733095/Viena0993A.rar The file contains the first test version of 0.993, with some extra debug information. You also need this program: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1733095/DBWIN32.exe You can extract the Viena executabl...

Re: Error Code=2

I'm not asking much, only that you do your best to repeat the steps in order to get the problem to occur (which you probably can). For this exercise you will get a special version of Viena that prints out detailed debug information into a special window. But before we go there I will do my best on m...

Re: Error Code=2

Is this the latest version, 0.992?
Error code 2 tells me that Viena could not create the array of audio samples to be saved in the SoundFont. At this moment I do not know the reason. I can provide you with a special debug build, if you are prepared to help me out.

Re: Can't save GS Wavetable Synth as SF2!

Actually, I looked more into it. I fired up my good old Windows XP computer with my good OLD SoundBlaster Live! audio board and the very fine SoundFont editor Vienna (by Creative, not to be confused with my own Viena). I quickly found that Vienna could not read ANY SoundFonts created from a DLS file...

Re: Can't save GS Wavetable Synth as SF2!

Thanks for this information. I will certainly investigate it. In the mean time you might want to try this old conversion:

#1: A new button will be introduced:

This will make it easier, I guess.

Re: Several annoying bugs I have noticed PLZ fix

#5: In Pianoroll view you are disturbed by the hint text always popping up. You can disable ALL hints (for the whole application) by toggling a menu item. In main menu View there is an item that - now - reads "Hide popup hints". Turn it off.

Re: Several annoying bugs I have noticed PLZ fix

#6: Did some research. And yes, I can reproduce it. And yes, there is a reason for it. The default behavior for a checkbox is to toggle its status when the space bar is pressed. So, if the checkbox has the focus, it will change state. In order to avoid it you must click on a track to give the track ...

Re: Several annoying bugs I have noticed PLZ fix

#2 in your list seems difficult to reproduce. I've tried a few times with various midi files without success. But I will continue. If you have more information then please give me a hand. #3. A percussion track has the midi channel number equal to 9. That is the whole "secret". You can mak...

Re: Several annoying bugs I have noticed PLZ fix

Thanks! I wish more people would take the time and write reports like this - it makes my life so much easier. I will eventually address them all in due time, but let me first tell you how to delete the selected notes. It is easy when you know how. At first you naturally select a group of events in a...
