Re: Band In A Box User - upgrading VSTSynthFont64 app
All new versions of VSTSynthFont (32/64) are covered by the Band-in-a-Box license. I have asked the BIAB people to try and include the latest version as often as possible, but it looks like it is hard to do. But, as I said, nothing prevents you from downloading and installing the latest. There are n...

Re: VSTSynthFont with sfogg or sf2pack support
VSTSynthFont will in the near future have full support for my own compressed SoundFont format, SFKR. Already now there is a limited support available in the current public version. Limited means that this version lets you use only free SoundFonts in the SFKR format. For example, you can try this one...

Re: VSTSynthFont with sfogg or sf2pack support
Sfogg (or .sf3) should be relatively easy to add. I more or less have it on the to-do lit. Sf2pack is harder to support as I am not aware of any DLL that could be used. For sfArk there is at least a 32 bit DLL, which is used by SynthFont. (No 64 bit though, as far as I know). in the latest version, ...

Re: SynthFont Crashes when it loads a VST plugin
I assume the Hypersonic 2 is a 32 bit plugin.
I have myself not yet been able to reproduce any crashes with 1.800 and the plugins I have.
Here is 1.770 installer: http://synthfont.com/SynthFontSetup1770.exe

If you can read it into Viena, then you can split it.

Re: Never used Viena - can it split a HEWGE soundfont?
There is a sized limit "baked" into the SoundFont structure that makes it hard to reach over 4 GB. The largest I have worked with in Viena is 3.98 GB or, more exact, 4 182 576 490 bytes.

Re: Main Output Volume (and more!)
I have heard about this issue (sound glitches) from other users and it looks like the best remedy is the allow the plugin read in all sample data from the SoundFont(s) at start-up. This has some drawbacks of course: start-up takes time and memory is used. So, it needs to be an option, of course. Sti...
