Re: String playback note attack
This is an example of setting envelope attack time for two different key regions: <region> sample=440.ogg lokey=0 hikey=59 loop_start=12629 loop_end=56728 loop_mode=loop_continuous ampeg_attack=1.0 <region> sample=440.ogg lokey=60 hikey=127 loop_start=12629 loop_end=56728 loop_mode=loop_continuous a...

Re: "Copy/Paste" to add extra verse/ bridge
There's an Undo button in the Pianoroll array of tools (under the selection of "Track to edit"), but It could of course be more accessible. Additionally, in some cases no undo data is created, just because of a flaw. One day I'll look more into this functionality!

Re: String playback note attack
In order to have the attack time change on key value you need to create regions, one for each of the 128 keys or - for simplicity - group them together. There is a parameter (ampeg_vel2attack) which can be used to set the attack as a function of the velocity, but there isn't one for key (this would ...

Re: Exchange event ("When") and real time
The exact time depends on the tempo of the song. What makes it complicated is that there can be many tempo changes "in front" of a particular event. All of them determines the time of the event. Currently there is no way to get to the time in SynthFont (1 or 2). This is of course a limitat...

Re: "Copy/Paste" to add extra verse/ bridge
All could be done. Sounds like a couple of relatively simple functions. I'll have a look when I get back to work.

Re: Version 0.990 has been released
John Maybe you need to tell me more? I can both delete unwanted splits and import new sample files without problems. However, there is ONE case when a new split may sound really bad: this is if you have set "Sample Mode" to loop in the Global split and the new sample doesn't have loop poin...

Re: String playback note attack
If this is an SSO instrument you can go in and edit the value in the SFZ file. The opcode is called "ampeg_attack". Here is a document you may want to read:

Re: Using the Sonatina Symphonic soundfont
But apart from that, as there is a place for an improvement in SynthFont2. You should not need to select the preset again. It should be enough with the first time, really. I'll fix it.

Re: Using the Sonatina Symphonic soundfont
Naturally it is possible to change the midi channel in SynthFont2, but it would be better if you could find a way of doing it in Mozart.
