Kenneth,
Usually when I run Viena 1.202, the Wave Data tab does not show. If I wish to do a reassign, I have to use the previous version (I think), and it always shows then. I am using Windows 10, Home version.

Re: File Access Violation in Viena64
I also get this same error message when using the latest version of Viena. I just ignore it and all seems to work normally.

Re: Using the Definitions file concept.
Kenneth,
I still have no solution to this issue. Any chance of looking at it? I am pressing on with creating what is likely to be my last soundfont (I am 83 years of age). Being able to use the Definitions file would be a great help.
Best wishes,
John

I spoke too soon. But I believe I have sent an error report. Please let me know if you did not receive it.

Re: Using the Definitions file concept.
Kenneth,
I have managed to generate an error message which I believe has pointed me in the right direction. Further thought makes me expect that in my next post I shall be able to report full success.

Re: Using the Definitions file concept.
Kenneth, I am trying to use the Definitions File to edit an existing soundfont. I have had no trouble creating the File and editing it. But when I open the soundfont and import the Definitions File I have made, it seems to make no difference to the soundfont. What am I failing to do? Best wishes, Jo...

Re: Reassign Problem
Kenneth, I think my success with this problem was short-lived, and I had to return to using 1.121 for reassigns and possibly also for actually importing looped samples where I had removed the release section (I have forgotten the proper term). I'm a bit vague on this, as it's some time I finished th...

Re: Reassign Problem
Kenneth,
1.131 and 1.133 were not showing the samples list when I clicked on Reassign.
However........ I have just installed the 64-bit version of 1.133 on my Windows 8.1 laptop, and not only does it behave, but so do the two 32-bit versions! Computers do keep us guessing.

Reassign Problem
Kenneth,
I am finding that I cannot reassign samples using Viena 1.131 or 1.133. I can do it with 1.121.
This is with a small soundfont and using Windows 8.1.
By the way, the 1.131.and 1.133 are both 32-bit, but the 1.121 is 64-bit, as it happens.

Re: Add Samples does not work
I am currently using Viena 1.131 successfully, with no problems in loading samples. I think you need to make sure that the looped samples were saved in the "originating folder" as SAMPLE.wav and not just as SAMPLE . There has been one very strange event, however, only last week, and it cou...
