Re: 64 bit version of SynthFont2 for testing
Ah! OK, making sure the bridge actually WAS in the same folder fixed my problem. I'm sorry for the mixup. All is working now! Edit: No, not all is working. I'm going to go thru and see which arrangements work and which don't, but I know I have the 32bit version of PLAY working now on at least...

Re: 64 bit version of SynthFont2 for testing
That's just the thing, I am using - and love so doing - the 64 bit version of the plugin! :D I just can't open the old arrangement files to swap the 32bit ones out for 64 bit ones and resave them. Unless I happened to not use that particular plugin in that arrangement. Therein lies my problem! :D Wo...

Re: 64 bit version of SynthFont2 for testing
Well, here's what I tried to send along, when it gave me the "Application error - There was an error during the execution of this program. Please send this report..." etc. message: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Application file: C:\Program F...

Re: 64 bit version of SynthFont2 for testing
I like it! It loads MUCH faster than the 32bit version. It runs smoother too - I've had some midis with serious stutter problems, these cleared up beautifully - and I've had fewer crashes, as far as I've tested it. It has crashed on me only once, and I don't know what caused it or how to repeat it....

Re: SynthFont2 wish list
My addition to the wish list - support for 64bit VST's/VSTi's. If it's not already possible, but so far I can only get 32bit stuff to work.

Re: New test version
But SFZ seems be OK, at least? I just tried it, yes it does. I'm just curious how come sfz works now but the other doesn't. Before 2012Q, both worked great. I don't have any other VSTi's to test it with to see if any others mess up like that, but is there anything else I might be able to provide to...

Re: New test version
@AndrewU: Thanks for the file! It helped me solve the issue (I believe, only you can confirm) and actually helped me solve another problem with "MIDI files with unfortunate combinations of Time Signature and Tempo changes" as mentioned below. Well...it doesn't appear to have changed anyth...

Re: New test version
@AndrewU: I have tried to reproduce your findings but I cannot. I do not have the EastWest Play VST but I do have the SFZ player. When you say "track 1", I assume you really mean the very first track, the one that seldom has any notes, it is usually reserved for meta events. Am I right? Y...

Re: New test version
There appears to be a bug introduced after 2012Q (?) with the VSTi's where if it reaches the end of the song and I play it again, all the notes in track 1 (and only track 1) hang, no matter how many times you try to play the song, until you restart SF. I've tested it with sfz player and the EastWest...
