Re: New test version

I have no clue what happened, I was unsubscribed to this topic somehow for a while, anyway I'm back. Now, to add to what I reported earlier, I've done more extensive testing in relation to the 3+ cores issue. It seems to show that it's around 48Khz when slowdowns seem to occur, meanwhile higher samp...

Re: New test version

My computer is running on Windows 10 now.. When will we have native Windows 10 support? What about native INS (instrument files) support? I still dream about a Synthfont pocket player. :) None of the current MIDI players I have fully satisfy me. MIDI Eddie would be the closest, but it's a bit buggy...

Re: New test version

It's an Intel i7-4810MQ, so it's a quad-core, hyperthreaded, SynthFont detects this as 8 CPU cores. - At 8000hz, I started off with only one CPU core enabled in task manager (CPU0), CPU percentage sticked to 13% which is completely normal and healthy, I was given a render time of ranging between 4-6...

Re: New test version

I've just gotten around to being finished my performance times on two of my machine, first one being my main laptop with an Intel i7-4810MQ, and the second one being a desktop running on an Intel Core2Duo E6700, both are running Windows 7 x64: Version 2.0.1.1: Rendering to file: Machine #1: 44100hz ...

Re: New test version

Oh another thing, for a while, I've suspected there has been some performance regression with the new versions when it came to varying sample rates. I've finally got around to doing my testing, rendering with my i7-4810MQ Windows 7 laptop .wav using this sample midi and GMGSx.sf2, let these results ...

Re: New test version

There's a bug introduced in 2.0.2.0 that I noticed but haven't focused much on until someone else in the community discovered and brought the same issue up to my attention. Basically, once the program is in "expired trial" state, you press "x" to cancel, which is normally suppose...

Re: New test version

Well, for those file manager bugs you cannot replicate, I've been able to produce both of them on multiple Windows 7 PCs of which I tested: 1. In this first example, I start off opening the file manager with it starting off at the bottom, I pressed W and it was able to locate a W file, but pressing ...

Re: New test version

Alright, now that you've started with a test build for the next version, I'll continue to say my new findings and suggestions, excluding the ones that'll involve lengthy and/or major changes for now: File dialog box bugs: - File name input box takes the name of the folder you have selected (Save aud...

Re: New test version

I just encountered a significant bug, one that actually caused my 11 hour rendering job to be a waste of time; Rendering MIDI to file with Normalize To Max Peak enabled at the same time as separate channels into separate files causes incomplete RAW files to be generated. http://i.snag.gy/Ccv8x.jpg S...

Re: New test version

Ah alright, its just that I personally thought it was a bug cause it doesn't seem to make logical sense to me. I don't understand the proposal still, I was able to drag the green marker back and forth during playback and it changed songs position as well as changing the start time, now I can do the ...
