Polyphony number of voices of synthfont2?

Is there meaningfull talking about polyphony and number of voices for synthfont or is it all downmixed in software and CPU dependent? I guess all soundcards has at least two hardware channels? And AUDIO over HDMI have at least 8 channels? When software like webaudio "browsers" is limited to 32 voice...

Well i could possibly asked about it before, wow 1996 you must have some memory. Although i understand that sample libraries are proprietary, i also feel it is such a shame that old libraries for old hardware just fade into obliviion. Sample libraries for the early samplers akai, yamaha, roland, ens...

Here is the instrument format for presets and notemapping i did go for in my, sequenser. So now i can load drumpatches with names from my Roland SC-7, unfortunately it do not have any banks. SyFonOne further development.

Any chance for you to make the SyFonOne to a more general sample format playback, i've noticed that FMJ software "awave studio" seem to have a more or less generic sampleformat converter that seem to read in almost any sampler format. Have not checked out how good the sampleformat conversion is yet....

Probably Translator will do it from start to end from SF2 to EMU http://chickensys.com/products/translator/translator_edition_soundfont.php Awave studio could probably help you get correct format, in a simple way. https://www.fmjsoft.com/awavestudio.html#main Not sure it can save in EMU format though.

I am not sure if note names are part of the preset standard but since presets built by samples it ought to be, i look for a program with an exporting"filetype" that include the sample name for midi drumnotes in a pad "in an easily reading import manner". I've tried export into Cakewalk ins files wit...
